Updated User Interface
TestTrack’s refined look and feel, with new toolbar, workflow, and application icons, makes it easier to identify commands and determine issue status.
Not sure what the icons in list windows, such as the pencil in the Defects list, mean? Tooltips are now displayed for list window icons that indicate new, changed, assigned, and closed issues.
TestTrack Pro 2008.1 also includes a user-customizable toolbar, support for multiple top level windows, and additional usability enhancements.
Improved Ease of Use
Save time by selecting the specific data you want to copy when duplicating a defect. Quickly duplicate defects that must be fixed on multiple platforms or in multiple releases.
Now copy and paste files from the Windows or Mac OS X clipboard directly onto the Attachments tab when you need to attach a file to a defect, test case, or test run.
TestTrack Pro 2008.1 also includes shortcuts for creating user-defined views, updates to the Quick Find toolbar and Overview tab, improved tab data indicators, and additional usability enhancements.
For Administrators
TestTrack Pro 2008.1 also includes the following features to provide administrators with greater flexibility and additional security options:
- Enforce required fields, based on a user’s security group
- Hide inactive users when assigning users to a security group
- Create ‘silent’ workflow events that do not display a dialog box when the event is entered
- Store data in PostgreSQL databases
